Art of Writing
Young Authors & Artists Conferences
Milwaukee Art Museum
Summer Conference - Thursday, July 24, 2014
Have you ever written a story or drawn a picture and wished you could share it with the world?
Do you have dreams of your creative works forever embedded in history?
We invite you to make these dreams come true.
In the last twenty-seven years
Art of Writing Young Authors & Artists Conferences
have published over 12,000 writers and artists.
In a single day, talented writers and artists, guided by experienced teachers, gather to brainstorm, collaborate, write, and sketch amidst the masterpieces in the Milwaukee Art Museum. Using the world-class art as inspiration, students create their very own masterpieces which are published in Art of Writing.
Parents, schools, and educational organizations sponsor our talented participants.
Lifelong friendships have been formed on this day of collaboration. As students critique each other’s work and help each other though the editing process to create their final drafts, bonds are formed over a shared love of art and the written word.
As one student advised, “Listen to the picture”.
We welcome you to join us and experience what many have described as “the best day of my life!”
